8/14/05 emailed on 8/26/2005 Hello everyone, I wrote this about two weeks ago. Sorry I did not get it to you sooner. Our laptop bit it in a bus crash and I had not got this email out to my last email group, and I did not have a chance to get to a place where I could send emails. It so wonderful when we are staying at the orphanage. Seeing the children's countenance continue to brighten is beyond words. I think a person would need the experience to fully understand. There are lots of financial needs here; a van ($6000) so the children don't have to walk 45 minutes to school each way, a water heater ($800 min) so the children can have warm baths, toys (I have seen three), and much more. Would you like to sponsor a child for $30 a month? Jacob can send pictures, etc. The news of places we have ministered is catching up to us. The first regular church we ministered at had over 30 Hindus get saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and spoke in tongues while going through a fire tunnel (people walking through the middle of two lines of people praying). Nobody even shared with them. Every day since, there has been unlead spontaneous prayer at church. It lasts from 8:00am to midnight and has been going a week now. People are missing work and changing schedules to pray and be touched again and again by the Holy Spirit with cleansing fire, peace, joy and hope. Soloman said the church (his) is a wreck (in a good way) - it is not prayer as usual. THE FIRE IS SPREADING! Another report came from a pastor who had the people in his church do the same thing that we had done at the bible school. The result was the same - a major outpouring of the Holy Spirit; spiritual experiences, visions, shaking, holy rolling, angelic visitation, deliverance from oppression, peace and joy at a level never before experienced, etc. THE FIRE IS SPREADING! I know for some of you it may be hard to believe but we are seeing hundreds of healings, not everyone or everything for sure, but the level continues to rise. For example the first three days or so I did not see a single person with bad eye sight healed, then I saw an occasional healing, yesterday I saw at least three ( we pray for so many people I lose track), one whose eyes were very glazed over with cataracts was completely healed. There are at least as many miracles happening during worship and whatever else God has us do as there are when we actually pray for the people. We also get reports of healings that happened after we left. There have been healings of many conditions, including cancer, that were going to require surgery or that the doctors said there was nothing they could do. We have heard follow up doctor reports confirming some of the healings. Continue to pray for the profoundly creative miracles such as missing arms, legs, eyes, etc. Also, more success in the demonized being free where we are starting to see breakthrough. Yesterday, a man who used to beat and try and kill himself went through the fire tunnel and was completely set free - the different was like night and day. Thank you dear Jesus! Yesterdays meeting started around 10:45, I shared an actual teaching for 15 minutes around 4:00pm then we finally prayed for the people and left around 6:00. Seeing the people set free to dance at every meeting is.... Maybe the greatest thing we saw was what happened in the pastors family. Its a long story but we spent a good portion of the first hour ministering the love God to them, all the while the Holy Spirit is pouring out on everyone. There is Holy Spirit fire everywhere. What a tonic joy and renewed hope are! It was a very awesome day in the Lord! Everywhere we go people want what we have - Jesus and The Holy Spirit. I have only been rejected from praying for or sharing with people one time that I recall. Originally the team going to Karla was just Jacob and the four of us. Ten went and others wanted to go. In Karala, Herb and I prayed for our hotel manager, when he took us to make a phone call. As we are going back to the hotel he asks us if we will pray for his entire staff. At a high class restaurant the Holy Spirit falls on us; the result being us having the opportunity to pray for the entire staff (cooks and all) of 12 or more people. It was so great! Thank you Jesus! The comments we are hearing are all alike. They are wrapped around new peace, joy and hope and a sense of God's sweet love. A few generalities; I thought there was on chance in a billion of ever seeing this; this is exactly what we have been needing; I didn't know such peace and joy was possible, I have been in the ministry for xx years I never have I seen anything like this; this is the sparks for our revival, I didn't know God was a fun God. This morning four of the newest children are starting school; we pray for them and cheer them off! Jesus is so good! Peace, joy, and love! |
